​75 Ways to Manage Stress
* Write in a journal * Take 10 Deep Breaths*Stretch * Visualize a beautiful and relaxing scene * Write down 5 things for which you’re thankful * Learn to say “no” * Say “yes” to what uplifts you * Be around positive people * Clean up clutter * Read something inspirational * Listen to soothing or uplifting music * Move your body * Smile on purpose * Watch something funny and laugh * Get some sunshine * Get out into nature/fresh air * Take a nap * Talk with a trusted friend * Prioritize your to do list * Focus on only one small next step * Do something nice for someone else with no return * Take a walk * Hum or sing * Squeeze a stress ball * Do gentle yoga * Pet a cat or dog, etc * Eat healthy * Drink more water * Walk away from unnecessary conflict * Let someone else be right * Ask for help * Get a massage * Take breaks throughout the day * Clean out a closet or drawer * Find a new recipe and make it * Pray * See problems as opportunities * Avoid caffeine, tobacco, alcohol, drugs * Cry * Be flexible * Do only one task at a time * Allow not knowing * Ask for what you prefer * Release expectations * Stop controlling * Treat yourself to a gift * Go out to lunch * Display flowers in your home * Smell lavender * Make your bed every day * Send a thank you note by snail mail * Wear comfortable clothing * Delegate chores/work * Enjoy live plants indoors or outdoors * Look up at the sky and say thank you * Spend time with loved ones * Write someone a letter of gratitude * Forgive * Daydream * Plan something fun for the near future * Set a realistic goal * Look at old and happy photos * Learn something new * Join a group * Volunteer * Take a bath * Light candles * Stop assuming * Give yourself permission to be very imperfect * Get out of God's/Higher Power's business * Don't argue with reality * Practice gratitude * Do random acts of kindness * Turn your thoughts around * Don’t believe everything you think *
