  • Worry - Where is my child.  How are they, they're living under a bush or a bridge? There are health complications. You're waiting for "the call".
  • Guilt - I did something wrong. I did too much, didn't do enough. I shouldn't haven't said that. I should have done it better.
  • Anger - The system is stacked against us,. I do so much and they don't appreciate it. My friends and family don't understand.
  • Grief - I'm losing my sanity, my life, my happiness. My child is spiraling deeper and deeper into addiction. I can't believe it's gotten so bad,. Everything has changed and it's getting worse, won't get better.

Welcome, I'm Joanne

Hello to you, my fellow heroic family member. For over 20 years as a Licensed Therapist specializing in Family Recovery, I’ve helped hundreds of people go from just surviving their loved one's addiction to becoming the safe, peaceful, supportive family member their loved one needs and the one they want to be.  Because I’ve walked this journey, I know how exhausting it can be, how family can replay every conversation, worry as their loved one slowly slips away, and feel guilty that they got angry or think they did something to make it worse. I help families relieve the many fears that are part of this journey, restore connection, communicate to inspire, and bring calm to the chaos.
