Family Recovery is Essential to Your Loved One's Recovery. Healing Your Own Heart and Mind Guides The Way.
a "YES" to You is a "YES" for Them ... a "Yes" to Love
Do you sit in confusion, worry, fear, and sadness while your loved one is active in their addiction? Or are you waiting for the next shoe to drop, living in the past or future, at least in your own mind? Are you so involved in their life and recovery (or lack of it) that you are losing your own? This is exhausting. And, unfortunately, left unaddressed, this is the energy that is shared with your loved one, who really needs a calmer approach. In order to be the most supportive to your loved one and maintain a connection that shines light through the darkness, you need your own recovery plan to be calm, clear, available and effective before, during, and after their recovery.
This weekend provides a way for you to heal, gather tools and resources, realize immediate transformation in the way you think and act (as well as how to capture it again and again), practice to develop new skills, and build a community of ongoing support.
This healing looks like you with clarity, inspiration, peace, and renewed energy to receive and do this:
create inner calm take care of your fears and emotions release control help in ways that are helpful (vs enabling) forgive, take care of guilt and shame establish healthy coping skills develop clear, calm and effective communication skills Immerse yourself into healing, and practice ways to approach the realities of addiction with methods that can help you and your loved one. You will be supported with educational material, tools, group support and interactive exercises to strengthen your recovery. You will learn ways to find the inner guidance to experience the roller coaster of emotions and situations in a kinder, more capable way. You will discover and practice skills to develop your own doable and practical personalized recovery plan. This is not a discussion group. Come ready to dive into active recovery and leave with your own unique plan. I've combined a variety of information and exercises learned through years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Facilitator of The Work, and specializing in Family Recovery - Be A Loving Mirror (BALM) Coaching/Family Recovery Resources. This weekend is designed to establish your own expertise and opportunity to feel uplifted and empowered.
